Doulas are not medical personnel. We do not perform any medical tasks. We provide our clients with emotional, physical, and informational support
How will hiring you affect my partner’s role during the birth?
A doula is present to provide the birthing person and their partner support before, during, and after birth. Doulas do not replace anyone. We offer guidance and assistance.
When do you hire a birth doula?
The earlier the better because its more bang for your buck! But anytime you feel you want or need support. I offer 2 prenatal appointments before labor support so enough time for us to schedule those and get to know one another!

Are postpartum doulas medical personnel?
Doulas are not medical personnel. We do not perform any medical tasks. We do help support both birthing person in their postpartum recovery and newborn care.
When do postpartum doulas start working?
Postpartum doulas can offer in person support as soon as the family comes home from the hospital, birth center, or their birthing place of choice.
This isn't my first baby, why do I need a postpartum doula?
Its always great to have another set of hands even if your a seasoned parent!
